Job Description

Workshop Parts Co-ordinator - ConstructionThe Workshop Parts Co-ordinator contributes to the organisations success by ensuring effective procurement of machine parts. Consistently delivering effective administrative, customer service and interpersonal skills, you will play a key role in supportingthe teams objectives in line vision of the business whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and working within the Companys key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.Whats on offer

Whats involved in the role
  • Liaising with customers regarding parts and service and providing timely updates to customers for parts delivery
  • Raise sales orders, work orders, purchase requests and invoices both internally and to customers
  • Managing inventory stock levels of parts
  • Controlling of service exchange parts
  • Controlling the ordering and stocking of third party and used parts
  • Placing factory order
  • Liaising with factories
  • Control of parts returns
  • Operating and maintaining of systems
  • Inputting timesheets for engineers
  • Processing and dealing with credit notes
  • Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post
What you will need
  • GCSE level grade A-C or 9-4 in both Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Experience within the construction plant or transport distribution industry
  • Ability to work within a pressurised environment
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and / or industry
  • Team player
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Good customer service skills with both internal and external customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational skills liaising with customers
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
  • Keep up to date on technical skills and knowledge
Hours:MondayFriday 8am-4:30pm
