Job Description

Service ControllerThe Service Controller contributes to the organisations success by offering effective customer service through clear communication with Field Service Engineers, ensuring parts and services are provided in a timely manner whilst ensuring outstanding customerservice at all times and working within the Companys key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.Whats on offer

Whats involved in the role

Liaising with customers to schedule maintenance / servicing of machines
Monitoring and recording of machine hours to ensure regular maintenance of machines is carried out
Continually maintains close communication with Field Service Engineers, internal departments, suppliers and customers to keep them advised of the progress of jobs and any outstanding work
Communicate with Field Service Engineers to compile and prepare estimates for secondary work reported from services
Maintain an organised system of work, ensuring filing and documentation are handled in a timely manner and logically filed
Develop and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Follow a consistent process to raise sale orders and warranty orders purchase requests
Effectively maintains clear and transparent communication
Managing stock levels of parts and deliveries

Ability to demonstrate competencies and skills for the role through warranty parts and service experience in a similar industry
Team player
Good communicator at all levels
Flexible approach to work
Ability to use own initiative
Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment
Developed a good commercial acumen
Computer literate and can effectively use MS applications
Keep up to date on technical skills and knowledge

Hours:MondayFriday 7:30am-5pm. Occasional requirement for Saturday morning overtime
