Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to join a world class manufacturing business based in Derbyshire. Turning over more than £40 million per annum, our client is a rapidly growing business looking for someone to develop and maintain the Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environmental Systems ensuring full compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001. This role will take on the a large responsibility for setting Quality and HS&E standards culturally across the site to ensure maximisation in right first time rates and a reduction in accidents.The SHEQ Manager duties and responsibilities will include:- Continuously review the standards, ensuring they are up to date and reflective of working practices- Uphold a database of customer complaints to ensure 8D corrective action plans are implemented within a promptly time frame- Ensure the development and maintenance of the IS09001:2015, ISO14001 and ISO45001 are inline with the Management Systems to ensure levels are SOPs, Work instructions and Standard forms are controlled- Manage quality control personnel on a daily basis- Conducting quality alerts to ensure internal and external non-conformances are conveyed to the shop floor- Carrying out Supplier Audits in accordance with the ISO 9001 standards- Establish training and refresher training programs where appropriate- Ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections to make sure the highest standards are consistently maintained- Lead training with new and existing members of staff whilst identifying and assisting in any staff development opportunities- Use continuous improvement techniques to improve and sustain the health, safety & environmental performance and management systemWe are very keen to speak to candidates with the following skills and experience:- NEBOSH qualified - Diploma or equivalent preferred - Experience of working in a SHEQ Management role within a manufacturing environment- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001- The ability to work under pressure- Strong communication both written and verbal- Highly organised with an attention to detail- A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative- Be self-motivated and resilient- Proficient in Microsoft Office- A positive "Can Do" AttitudeTo apply for this position please send your application or call for all enquiries.Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with senior engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
