Job Description

A global manufacturer of packaging products to a range of industries is currently seeking Maintenance Engineers to join their Engineering team in their world-class UK Facility.As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will have the responsibility for Installing, Maintaining, and Examining all equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within a Planned Preventative Maintenance Scheme to meet customer requirementsand drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals.£38,000 - £41,000 working a 3 shift pattern, plus a competitive benefits package including cycle to work scheme, gym memberships, company sick pay, health & well-being programme and on-site parkingAs a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

  • Performing routine and regular maintenance of electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule
  • Carrying out fault finding to detect and repair electrical and mechanical faults on machinery and equipment
  • Attending to breakdown situations and rectifying breakdown problems in a timely manner
  • Supervising external contractors and colleagues as required
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -
  • Hold the same job title, or similar such as Maintenance Technician, Multiskilled Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
  • Be multi-skilled, with experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Have experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Be time-served / Apprentice trained in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Hold a qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
