Job Description

Are you looking for a HR role within a manufacturing businessDo you love coaching managers Would you like a HR site role where you can work autonomously If the answer is yes to the above questions, please read on. We are recruiting a site lead HR role for a manufacturing business near Ely. Reporting to the MD of the site and the regional HR Manager you will be responsible for all of the operational HR activity. The role is site based, 5 days a week with occasional homeworking. The site runs a 24/7 operation with a workforce of around 250 people. The roleYou will work closely with the MD of your site, guiding, advising, and supporting on all HR matters. A typical day would involve

  • Managing all recruitment activity
  • Advising and guiding on HR issues
  • Delivering inductions
  • Managing exit interviews
  • Producing HR metrics
  • Preparing offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Preparing payroll information, starters, changes and leavers
  • Supporting and coaching line managers
About you
  • Happy to roll up your sleeves
  • Previous experience of working within manufacturing
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations cases
  • Previous experience of coaching managers
  • CIPD level 3 or 5 or working towards
