Job Description

My client, based on the outskirts of Ely, is looking for an experienced FLT Driver for day shifts in their busy factory.Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods as directed in a safe, effective and timely manner
  • Fork Lift truck driving for the movement of products.
  • Location of goods within warehouses.
  • General housekeeping duties
    • Essential Experience/ Qualities
  • Forklift license (essential)
  • Experience of lifting heavy materials and working in a loading bay
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication
  • A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Career minded individual with the desire to progress
  • Fit and able, the position involves moving of heavy items
    • This is a full-time temporary position although there is an opportunity for permanent employment, after a qualifying period, for the right candidate.Due to the location of my client a driving licence would be beneficial.Avocet Staffing is acting as a recruitment company on behalf of our client.
