Job Description

FORKLIFT DRIVERRecruit Mint are working in partnership with our client based in Sutton near Ely, CB6 and recruiting candidates for immediate opportunities for Forklift Drivers within the operation.Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance, Reach or HLOP forklift
  • Assessment by a fully trained instructor will be carried out on site prior to using any equipment
  • Extra training offered on other licences once within the operation
  • NOT JUST FORKLIFT DUTIES - Other warehouse duties will apply such as picking, packing, goods in, e-commerce
  • General warehouse and housekeeping duties
  • Other skilled roles available - line leader, team leader, supervisor
    • Requirements:
  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly, approachable and a team player
  • Hard working, flexible and target driven
  • Available for 0600-1400 or 1400-2200 shift pattern (ideally weekly rotating)
  • Some flexibility to work weekends during their busiest period (can be discussed)
  • Keep to strict 2 metre rules and one way system around the warehouse to assist with the prevention of Covid-19
    • Pay rates & benefits:
  • £10.70 per hour x1 licence once trained and passed on site
  • £10.95 per hour x2 licences once trained and passed on site
  • 7.50 hour paid day / standard 37.50 hours per week
  • Extra hours constantly available from now until December
  • Free parking on site
