Job Description

Express Recruitment are proud to be working alongside one of the East Midlands leading precision tooling manufacturers specialising in the aerospace, medical & defence sectors.Due to the nature of contracts that our client have won, they are seeking a talented CNC Miller to join their team! The successful candidate will receive a starting salary of up to £17 per hour.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting, operating, and selecting the correct tooling for batch work and one-off bespoke requests
  • Read and interpret technical schematics and design models
  • Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications
  • Inspect machines for mechanical and safety issues
  • Cut, grind and drill materials in machine in line with customer specifications
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience setting, operating, and programming Hurco machinery with XYZ controls
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment essential
  • Proven experience working towards tight tolerances
  • Ability to interpret engineering schematics and deal with batch work but also bespoke requests
  • Experience in production for the aerospace & defence sector highly desirable
