Our vision is to be the UK’s number one provider of secure, integrated cloud services to the small to mid-size market.The Managed Services team provide a 24/7 support structure for our clients with a primarily focus on Event Management, Patching, Planned Maintenance, Change planning and implementation. In support of these key areas of delivery, the team collaborate withall areas of Operational Delivery to ensure proactiveness is at the heart of everything we do. This includes working with service transition, problem and change management, automation and continual process improvement.Our Senior Managed Services Engineers act as the point of escalation for the Managed Services Engineers in relation to customer incidents or requests. This role is responsible for leading on the key areas of delivery as directed by the Managed Services Manager,whilst acting as a mentor for the wider team.Key delivery areas include windows infrastructure or network connectivity infrastructure.They will also play a pivotal role in change management, working closely with the change manager to improve change quality, increase use of standard change, and ensure all change work for the team is rigorously assessed and best practices adhered to.The role plays an important part in the technical aspects of Incident Management, Service Requests and problem management relating to their product specialism as well as being responsible for maintaining and developing the technical skills required to providethese services to our customers in accordance with our performance indicators and service level agreements.Senior Managed Services Engineers are also expected to maintain relationships with engineering teams, and potentially spend up to half their time on engineering activity.We are looking for an experienced Engineer with a Strong technical background with at least 2 of the following of Network/Firewalls routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto) experience, Infrastructure (Windows server, AD, RDS, O365) Virtualisation(Citrix, VMware) or Cloud (Microsoft Azure).Required skills
