Job Description

Our client are one of the UK leading charities with great new offices based in Stratford (E15)They are seeking some immediate help for up to 3 months within their Facilities Team - hours are 8-4 or 9-5 and our client will require a Mon - Fri committment to their office Summary of the Roles Main Purpose: To support and assist the Senior Facilities Co-ordinators with the day to day running of the Mailroom and Goods-in facility.

  • Ensuring the daily Royal Mail delivery is sorted and delivered out to correct teams/areas and collect all out-going mails is franked ready for evening collection.
  • To support the facilities team in other facilities management duties as required for example event management, office moves, and management of centralised printers
  • To manage the centralised stationary, including restocking, ordering and distribution.
  • To manage the Mail-Room email inbox dealing with all requests for Couriers and follow up on missed or lost packages.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Carry out daily mailroom operations including, opening, sorting and distribution of incoming mail; franking/couriering outgoing mail; resolving post queries
  • To assist with large or urgent items, monitoring to ensure delivery of agreed service and value for money.
  • To liaise with the onsite the porters to ensure a timely collecton from goods in and distribution of goods to teams/departments.
  • Assist with the management of the stationery stock and replenish locally as required; also maintaining any onsite storage facilities.
  • Support the Facilities Manager and wider team where applicable and requested
Key Technical Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Behaviours:
  • Good spoken and written communications skills
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment along with confident administration skills.
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Has a can do attitude and is well organised
  • Has general admin skills
  • Knowledge of the microsft office suite
