Job Description

HR AdvisorLoanhead£28,000 - £34,000Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client of many years in supporting in this rare hire for a CIPD qualified HR Advisor to work in a small and busy HR team reporting into the HR Manager.A rare opportunity in you will be involved in all aspects of HR and being in a small team you will have the opportunity to develop your skills further across TA, retention, on-boarding, key stakeholder management along with identifying and working with bothinternal and external partners for both short term and long term needs of the business.Our client are a global and well recognised brand and employer locally based in Loanhead with a strong reputation, fancy itOk, so here is a general overview of what your duties will involve and please remember being in a small team there will be extra requirements on an ad hoc basis.

  • Working with managers and looking at monitoring, reviewing and highlighting any findings across staff absence
  • Effectively filling on vacancies temporary, permanent and contract and looking at effective sourcing tools
  • Managing both starters and finishers and understanding and reporting into why people join the company and in turn why do they leave
  • Developing and increasing awareness of our clients core values
  • Building up and developing key relationships internally and externally
  • Supporting line managers with HR support and guidance
  • Employee satisfaction, candidate experience and staff retention rates
  • Following company legislation for all hires
  • Advising managers in terms of legal requirements and legal HR process when managing and developing employees
  • Assist in the administration of payroll
  • Supporting and working with the HR Manager and Administrator in terms of employee relations, policy administration and more
Sound good, and to top it all you finish early every Friday.What is our client looking for
  • Firstly you will be CIPD qualified, this is essential
  • Experience in managing and handling candidates throughout the full recruitment cycle
  • Exceptional communication skills and be able to work with people at all levels
  • Exposure in succession planning and appraisals
  • Ability to lead and manage change
