This is a group level role looking after our businesses both in the UK and Ireland as well as the USA.The role is based in the UK from the Welcome Break head offices in Newport Pagnell.Applegreen is in a rapid growth phase and is seeking to onboard an induvidual with the skills, experience and dynamism to help deliver projects in a fast-paced retail environment.What will your role look likeWe are looking for a suitably Microsoft qualified and experienced Azure System Administrator to join the Group IT team supporting our regional teams in the ROI, UK and USAYou will help To deliver Applegreens mission by maintaining and developing Microsoft Azure & 365 cloud services, Active Directory and related services, Windows server/client infrastructure and IT systems, which Applegreen depends upon to deliver IT servicesto internal and external users.Focusing on system design, builds and installations.You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining stable and secure Microsoft Azure & 365 cloud services and on-premises infrastructure by resolving hardware and software issues.
• Hardening, configuration and maintenance of systems and services updating documentation and diagrams.
• Preparing and presenting change/improvement requests to Change Advisory Board.
• Reporting issues where systems are non-functional
• Manage licensing, storage, and application requirements for the Group Tenant

About youIdeally we are looking for someone who has:

• Hold a relevant Microsoft Azure Administration qualification, and have at least 5 years experience as a senior Microsoft System Admin
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange Server
• M365 (Intune), WAF, Storage, Azure
• Technical experience across Private cloud (VMWare / HyperV) Office 365, RDS, VPN
• IP Networking skills including but not limited to switching, firewalls, and routing basics.
• Understanding of Cloud & infrastructure integration
• Desktop infrastructure experience
• Disaster recovery and site replication solutions experience
• Experience with Cloud environments and Automation of tools (Chef/ Puppet/ Terraform)
• Expertise in both multi-servers, stand alone and clustered solutions.
• Expertise of clustering services, enabling High Availability failover
• Experience with Enterprise Hardware and Management Tools
