Job Description

Accountable recruitment are currently working supporting with Treasury Assistant role for a company based near Stoke. The successful candidate will have previous Finance exposure and be keen to support the Treasury / Tax accountants along with the Transactionsteams.This company support remote working, you will only be required in the office 2/3 times per month. Treasury Assistant / up to £24,000 / Remote - Stoke office / Study support availableDuties to include;

  • Assisting with all duties within the Treasury function, inclyding forecasting and other cash flow requirements
  • Completing bank reconcilations in a timely manner
  • Calculation and submission of VAT returns in line with deadlines
  • Inter account, BACS and CHAPS payments
  • Communicating with colleagues, banks, customers and other audiences professionally and efficiently
  • Completion of statutory returns
  • Being involved with continual improvement of reporting, system management and processes within the function
  • Resolving banking queries
  • Reviewing and analysing Financial information
Experience required;
  • Previous exposure to a Finance role is essential
  • Strong Excel skills and adaptable to systems
  • Experience completing VAT returns (desired)
  • Strong communication skills
