Job Description

Maintenance Engineer required for a manufacturer of aerosol products based in Stoke On Trent.We are currently looking for a Production Maintenance Engineer to complement our Maintenance Manager in the daily maintenance of our three fully automated aerosol filling lines. The Production Maintenance Engineer will report into the Maintenance Managerand be responsible for the Maintenance and Troubleshooting of various production related issues. You will provide a mechanical engineering service to the production units in terms of maintaining aerosol filling lines to achieve minimal downtime and reducedengineering costs.This is a fast paced and integral role, and one that is key to the next stages of business growth. This role would be suitable for a recent time served apprentice looking for their next career move, and offers the opportunity to develop into a Senior Maintenanceposition as part of succession planningMaintenance Engineer Position OverviewDuties as a Production Maintenance Engineer will include but not be limited to;

Maintenance and Troubleshooting of various maintenance related issues as a Production Maintenance Engineer
Carry out PPMs on all site / plant equipment to minimise downtime
Fault finding, Root Cause Analysis, and Diagnostics
Assist in installations & commission of new machinery
Inspection and analysis of key production equipment
Promotion of safe working practices and waste reduction

Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements

Experience of working as a Production Maintenance Engineer an automated production environment, with particular knowledge of pneumatics
Knowledge of PPMs

Desired

Experience of working as a Production Maintenance Engineer in an Aerosol Filling or similar industry
Knowledge of common process improvement practices within a manufacturing setting
Experience of communicating with business members and also external contractors as a Production Maintenance Engineer
