Our client is a market leader in supply chain and logistics services. Their business continues to grow at a rate and part of that strategy is to recruit a Transport Manager who can shape the way forwards from a strategic hub operation servicing the midlandsand north.Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will lead a function looking after a mixed fleet, including rigid and Artics. An operation that manages c&d movements on a 24hr timescale and multi-stop basis mean you will know exactly what it takes to leada professional team, including planning and driver management. Additionally, you will be used to regularly utilising subcontractors and looking to maximise revenues with backhaul.Of high calibre, you will inspire, lead and bring a new dimension to this in-house transport operation, looking to take a loyal team on a journey with you. Ideally, you will have experience managing a transport operation within an international or a palletnetwork, but all sector backgrounds will be considered. You must have a CPC and be experienced as an OLicence Holder.
