Job Description

Here at the Dee Set Group, we truly believe that embracing technology and change is the way to drive excellence and efficiency across our group of businesses.Purpose of the role:As a forward-thinking business who likes to push the boundaries and provide the very best products and systems, your role will be to test in house developed software before it is deployed to live production environment, to ensure it fulfils all of its requirementsand provides an excellent user experience for our customers and colleagues.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure new features and system corrections are fully tested and ready for production deployment.
  • Provide regression testing wherever possible.
  • Design test strategies for larger feature developments.
  • Coordinate with the development team to ensure test environment is put to best use.
  • Support the development team in identifying issues.
  • Contribute to all aspects of Quality Assurance process and procedures.
Core Skills:
  • Knowledge of systems testing including web applications and mobile applications (Android and iOS).
  • Knowledge of mobile device emulators.
  • Knowledge of system regression testing (ideally web and mobile)
  • Skill in utilising written and verbal communication.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within IT team and with colleagues in the company at all levels.
Skills & Experience/Qualifications:
  • Ideally you will have a Computer related degree.
  • Qualifications related to .net applications would be preferable but not essential.
  • Extensive practical experience in a similar role in the IT industry (at least 1 year).
Whats On Offer:
  • Salary up to: £35,000dependant on experience
