Excellent new role created for an expanding team due to company growth.Further professional development is encouraged and professional accreditations are paid for.The Technical Architect will play a key role in the design, implementation and support of innovative, accreditable, cost efficient and profitable solutions.The role encompasses the following key areas to meet the Companys strategic objectives:Designs: Responsible for the design and development of new company products, documenting high level designs (HLD) using a number of varying technologies including the use of traditional technologies, hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, build scriptsand maintenance processes. Handover of design artefacts to other design colleagues to facilitate LLDs and delivery activity.System Installation: Quality assurance of LLDs and installation guides to ensure the delivered solutions align to the HLD.Research & Development: Responsible for the research and development of new technologies to facilitate the delivery of our product strategy roadmap.Systems Maintenance: Fourth line support - IT Service, support and administration of the companys service offerings, liaising with all support teams, outsourced service delivery partners and suppliers to maintain the service to or above contracted SLAsand Target KPIs.Overview of Responsibilities:Design Support:Manage the design process, including participating in reviews, and documenting relevant inputs.Manage the development, evaluation and implementation of the Companys Technology RoadmapProduce all design documentation where appropriate. Including handover to Service Operations for build and support activities.System Installation:Ensure all appropriate installation documentation is produced and aligns to the HLD.Manage the technical day to day relationship with internal customer service teams and 3rd party supplier interfaces.Test & Development:Conduct research into products and solutions.Building and integrating appropriate prototypes and technology demonstrators.Support the development of build and test facilities.Systems Maintenance:Act as a service subject matter expert and respond where appropriate to escalated incidents, problems and change requests to ensure the timely update of the companys Service Management ticketing system.Skills and QualificationsA good technical knowledge and experience of most of the following:Hardware
