Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a knowledgeable and experienced Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) for an excellent Ofsted rated school of Good in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is full time, will commence after the October half term, and will beuntil the end of the academic year (July 2022).Our partnership school is known for its warm and trusting environment (senior leaders are visibly seen regularly around the school for support) and students are known to thrive both socially and academically with other learners, and also with staff.For this particular role, MFL Teachers who apply will:

  • Hold the relevant Modern Foreign Languages/Spanish/French (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Evidence of teaching Spanish to both Key Stage 3 & 4 (GCSE) and French to Key Stage 3.
  • Have both strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge.
  • Be able to adapt quickly within the school and to be a good team player with staff.
  • Hold a current enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
