Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to join a World renowned engineering business working on the installation/commissioning, repair and servicing of low to medium voltage switchgear Do you already have experience with the installation/commissioning, maintenance and repair of Switchgear Do you have a full UK Driving licence Are you happy to cover a national patch (60% of the work is based in the North West)If the answers to the above are YES, my client, a truly recession proof business, are looking to take someone on with your background in a permanent capacity with a healthy salary and bonus scheme (details below).This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated team player who will be empowered to have a good level of autonomy in their role. The position will provide great prospects for career progression with the right demonstration of performance. Full training and mentoring will be given as part of a structured development programme as well as role specific development.Essential Requirements

  • Medium Voltage Electrical distribution experience. Completed Electrical apprenticeship. Relevant electrical qualification. i.e. C& G, HNC/D, BTech, Relevant Safety passports/qualifications
  • Full Uk Driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel nationally if required
  • Strong background in the Power systems sector - MUST HAVE experience with Switchgear (preferably up to 33kv)

(MV LV Switchgear and EV Charging Systems)Delivering the site based activities relating to the MV, LV, and EV equipment Service portfolioTo work safely and in full compliance at all times and on all occasions.To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy PoliciesTo produce high quality recommendations and documentation/reports following site activitiesTo proactively spot and report on opportunities identified on sitesChallengesWorking to deadlines with the minimum of supervision.Acquiring and maintaining relevant Technical skills set.Spotting additional opportunities on siteWorking efficiently to reduce costs on projectsLearn new skills across Electrification service functionsWork flexibly to deliver excellent customer supportCordant Group is an equal opportunities employer Required skills
