Job Description

The role of Supply Planner will play a key part in the businesses success, responsible for analyst customer demand, creating forecasts and presenting that to stakeholders. Good knowledge of supply chain, stock & forecasting is essential.Client DetailsIve partnered up with a fast-moving manufacturing business which supply high quality products to consumers across the globe through various online platforms.Location: Stoke-on-TrentDescriptionThe Supply Planner will have the following responsibilities:

  • Detailed analysis of sales for ranges in the market place, reviewing the market and ensuring sales opportunities are maximised.
  • Range Review- track and monitor range on digital platforms to ensure clear reporting to the directors of the business on weekly dashboards, as well as taking action to support growth on platforms, with customer and own Ecommerce balanced to give best businesspractice.
  • Work with the in house Inventory team to ensure forecasts and promotional activity are supported in good time to maximise sales out.
  • Review development opportunities to maximise AOV - with projects such as sku bundling - support to departments suggest as Sales
  • Promotional activity - involving a calendar of events, ensuring plan is in place to maintain stocks, advising the Inventory team functions for UK production and Sourced.
  • Supporting Sales to achieve sales goals
  • A cross functional role that requires excellent communication skills within the organisation and outwardly to B2B to ensure the business Strategy is achieved.
ProfileThe successful candidate for the Supply Planner will ideally have the following key skills & qualities:
  • Previous experience in a forecasting role
  • Experience within the FMCG sector
  • Analytic skillset
  • Good communicator and comfortable at presenting
  • A good understanding of supply chain and stock processes
  • Strong Excel skills
