Job Description

As a Sub Editor in the sports scheduling team you will be responsible for highlighting daily key events to be scheduled for display on the bet365 sports site on all domains and platforms.The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passionate sporting interest and extensive knowledge of the sporting calendar.In addition to strong sporting knowledge, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, exemplary attention to detail, possess the ability to work under pressure to pre-defined deadlines and have a good understanding of our Sports product.This is an excellent opportunity for those with an interest in sports and gambling, offering the opportunity to propose scheduled content for the multiple variations of the bet365 Sports site.This full time position involves working any 5 days from 7.Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong Sports knowledge.
  • Extensive knowledge of the sporting calendar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure to predefined deadlines.
  • Main Responsibilities
  • Planning and researching potential sportsbook schedules for key markets.
  • Understanding sports and betting preferences in localised markets.
  • Building schedules which ensure key sporting events are localised to display across appropriate domains and language sites.
  • Creating major event site display plans for senior management review.
  • Writing content to promote upcoming fixtures and events for customer communications.
  • Proof reading customer communications, print advertisements and race cards.
