Job Description

Come and join a team of 12 developers in this logistics software company. They are currently leading the way in software-based logistics, ever-improving the efficiency of warehousing, transport, tracking, mobile and safety/security for their clients.This roles biggest challenge.The biggest challenge in this role is having the capability to understand and review the processes and complexities of a large integrated IT system alongside interacting with clients to assist in the definition of new functionalities and/or solve any issuesin a fast paced and dynamic environment.The role.

  • Software development
  • Understanding development specifications and requirements, contributing to overall design, proposing improvements and highlighting deficiencies
  • Following version control standards
  • Testing and documenting work
  • Offering warranty on all delivered code
  • Supporting issues when required, ensuring minimum impact on planned development
  • Recommending latest technologies and associated trainings to the Development Manager
Requirements for a successful applicant.
  • SQL development background
  • Microsoft Excel competency
  • Microsoft Access competency
  • Strong skills in build processes, code & configuration management etc.
  • Understanding of database design practices and patterns
  • Ability to understand code produced by others
Desirable but non-essential skills.
  • Ability to speak Flemish, Czech or Polish
  • VB / C# experience
