Specialist Practitioner - Female schemeStoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire£21,726 a yearFixed Term 1 year Contract, 37.5 hoursAs a Specialist Practitioner youll support and empower women facing multiple disadvantages, including homelessness and domestic abuse. Youll support the team at our clients 24/7 female scheme, providing a point of contact and consistency for female customersfrom referral to move-on.Job requirements Carry a small case load of female customers and guide them through their individual support needs using a trauma-informed and person-centred approach. Lead the way in making sure that personalised and tailored support is provided to customers. Be a positive role model for staff and customers at the female service. Provide specialist support, advice and guidance to all staff on-site.What theyre looking for Educated to GCSE level or with a good level of maths and English. One years experience of working in a hostel environment or domestic abuse refuge. Experience supporting vulnerable women and working with domestic abuse perpetrators and/or survivors. Great communication skills to build a good rapport with female customers and stakeholders. Organised with good attention to detail and good IT skills. Flexible and open to change.
