James Adams has partnered with one of the fastest growing technology businesses in the UK, looking to hire a Software Development Team Leader to help lead one of their high performing software development team.As a Software Development Team Leader, you will be managing 10 - 14 developers and you will be responsible for empowering the business to deliver great software and drive the activity and efforts for the development team. Your focus will be on creating an amazingculture and environment for your team to thrive and to help the existing team leaders get the best from their teams. You will also be the business facing aspect of the team and regularly report back to the senior management team on progress, blockages andtake charge of technical roadmap and strategy of the business.Whilst as Software Development Team Leader you will take responsibility for leading the team, the business will look to you as a technical expert with a strong understanding of the systems and code that is being developed by your team. Your focus will be ongrowing and retaining the teams you manage, developing and unblocking processes and ensuringdeliveryand governance are excellent.This is an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader or existing Development Manager to move into a fast growing and high preforming technology business and manage a large and complex team of softwaredevelopers.Ideally suitable candidates will have the following background but if you dont have exactly the experience described below, please dont hesitate to get in touch:
