We supply packaging & process machinery automation solutions to the medical & diagnostic device industries and are offering a superb package & genuine prospects to management if you are ambitious.BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000BENEFITS:· Car Allowance · PensionLOCATION: Home based covering the UK & Ireland - ideally you will be living between Birmingham & Manchester with occasional European travel.COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stoke, Warrington, Chester, Telford, Nottingham.JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer : Packaging & Process Machinery - Medical & Diagnostic DevicesThis is a classic Service & Commissioning Engineer role installing & commissioning new systems into clients after checking & preparing machines (including PLC programming) prior to delivery. You will spend up to 50% of your time on clients sites and potentially away from home but this will depend on your location relative to clients sites. Mostly working Monday to Friday with very occasional weekend work. You will however be required to travel to their European Head Office for checking & preparation work pre delivery to the UK.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer : Packaging & Process Machinery - Medical & Diagnostic Devices· You MUST have a current & proven track record as a Commissioning Engineer OR as a Service Engineer OR as a Process Engineer with hands on experience of packaging or process machinery · You MUST have experience of working within the medical OR diagnostic device OR pharmaceutical industries · You MUST be capable of PLC programming (ideally with experience of Beckhoff PLCs & TwinCAT) · You MUST be a qualified Electrical & Electronic Engineer · You MUST have experience of machine vision systemsTHE COMPANY:We are a well established & fast growing European manufacturer of packaging & process machinery automation solutions supplying the medical & diagnostic device industries who have set up a UK sales & service office this year and have already sold over £2million turnover of machinery within the first year.PROSPECTS:Are superb for those who are ambitious to move into a management role and there is a genuine possibility of equity share in the future.
