SENIOR CIVIL / INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERAre you a Civil/Infrastructure Engineer looking for an exciting role in a growing Multi-Disciplinary CompanyTHE COMPANYDue to continued growth, our clients are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work in their offices in Stoke on Trent. They are one of the largest regionally based engineering consultancies in the UK. They work on projects both in the UK and internationally and have a proven track record for delivering excellent design across a number of sectors.We are looking for a strong communicator (both written and verbal) and a technically experienced individual to be part of an expanding team with exciting project workload both in the UK and overseas. On offer is the experience to be working on a wide variety of types of projects in all major sectors to stretch your skills and develop your career.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCEYou will be responsible for civil engineering/infrastructure design, including civil engineering design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical information, liaising with clients, wider design team, statutory authorities, contractors, etc, undertaking site surveys and writing reports, preparing and checking designs, drawings and calculations and carrying out contract management on delegated schemes.You will already have significant UK experience in infrastructure design (below ground drainage, services coordination, cut/fill, pavement design and external levels) and an excellent understanding of projects both during design and construction phases.You will have a Degree in Engineering and have knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health and Safety. You will be either chartered or near chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers or similar.You will also have excellent design skills and be able to competently undertake computer based analysis using AutoCAD/Civils3D/ WinDes (MicroDrainage) software.The role is based in Stoke on Trent, however there will be travel to other offices, client premises and site visits, so a valid driving licence and business cover car insurance is required.Interested in this or other roles in Civil Engineering, please do not hesitate to contact Martin Boland now on or call .
