Job Description

Opening for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join a rapidly growing business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role will pay a salary up to £30,000 depending on experience.Client DetailsPage Personnel are working with a highly successful and forward-thinking business. Due to the natural growth of the team, they have an opportunity for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join them.DescriptionSenior Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • To support the Finance Team in Master Data improvements for both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
  • Purchasing Invoice Scanning and Indexing to ensure all invoices filed electronically
  • Gather support for Asset Finance claims, evidence of invoicing and payment is required
  • Contact customers to transfer their payments to new HSBC accounts following change of bank accounts
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Year End audit preparations
  • Support in establishing a full set of procedures for the key processes.
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Support the team with backlog of processing issues.
ProfileThe candidate will have:
  • Experience working within a similar role managing purchase/sales ledger - Required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • Knowledge of ERP systems - Desirable
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships - Required
  • Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
