Job Description

Exciting growth means that we currently have a vacancy for a Sales and Customer Service Assistant to join our small team at Easy Composites Ltd.The position would involve dealing with customers across a number of channels including phone, email, Livechat, social media and sales counter, assisting them with placing or changing orders, chasing deliveries and general enquiries, as well as more generaloffice support.With a worldwide customer base and a subsidiary in the Netherlands, the role will involve regular dealings with import/export admin and customers from around the world.In short, this would be a varied role with plenty of opportunity to gain new skills and experience using modern software and systems as part of a friendly can-do team.--- Duties and Responsibilities ---

  • Taking orders/changing orders
  • Processing returns/refunds/credits
  • Helping customers with shipping/delivery queries, chasing couriers
  • Supporting customers through multiple channels including social media, email, tickets, LiveChat, sales counter and telephone
  • Assisting Dutch colleagues with stock/order queries (remotely!)
  • Handling post/running occasional errands (driving licence and car an advantage)
--- Essential Skills & Qualifications ---Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential, as is a friendly and helpful telephone manner.The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills including correct use of spelling and grammar and confidence working with basic units and measurements. Ideally, candidates will be able to demonstrate this through goodqualifications in core subjects to at least GCSE (or equivalent) level.Skills, experience, or qualifications in the following areas would be an advantage:
  • Customer service
  • General business administration
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
