Join us in connecting people to commercein this vital, rewarding role.Position Overview:We are currently seeking for a Repair technician to be based in our Stoke-On-Trent facility. The ideal candidate would be Repairing and testing mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagramsand written or oral instructions to understand and perform repair and/or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical, product and quality requirementsKey Responsibilities:

  • Provides Repair Technician support and product repair for assigned mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Identifies, isolates and corrects malfunctions on assigned products through the practical application of acquired technologies and skills.
  • Disassembles, cleans and reassembles assigned products in conjunction with refurbishment activities.
  • Generates and maintains required test reports, logs, documentation and test equipment.
  • Reports recurring quality problems to appropriate individuals or groups.
  • Enhances working knowledge of the total product line and associated test diagnostics and procedures.
  • Uses precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges to measure component parts and assist with repair, refurbishment and related activity.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as a repair technician (Hardware)
