Job Description

We are looking for a new team member to join our Quality & Technical department.What sort of person are we looking for

  • The ideal candidate would be someone looking to begin their journey in ceramic manufacturing and developing a good understanding of ceramic raw materials and processes.
  • The ability to manage workloads is essential as is the need to demonstrate continuous pride in the work produced.
  • Proven experience of innovative approaches to problem solving would also be desirable.
  • Accomplished communication skills both verbally and written.
Key Responsibilities
  • To perform routine testing of incoming raw materials and outgoing products and action non-conformances accordingly whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
  • To provide both proactive and reactive technical support to the production team to help maintain optimum process efficiency.
  • To develop and implement Technical Projects to help enable optimal process performances and to work towards Net Zero targets using knowledge of the materials used in our production processes.
  • To exchange information to enable decision making and problem solving to be carried out within the department, by other departments within the Company and by external bodies.
  • To seek, evaluate and organise information to aid decision making within the department, by other departments within the Company and by external bodies.
