Quality InspectorLocation: Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 6SR.Salary: Circa £20K per annum, over time may be offered.Contract: Permanent, 4-day work week (Monday - Thursday), 36hrs per week, flexi time.Copper & Optic are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their existing Quality Team. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Copper & Optic are manufacturers of subcontract cable harness assemblies to a variety of sectors including the Aerospace industry.Duties will include inspection and testing of electrical / mechanical products via both electrical and manual test methods.The candidate: Will have a knowledge of fault finding on products after electrical test failure. Ideally have an electrical / mechanical background and can read and understand customers and regulatory drawing and specifications. (A knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements would be an advantage). Ideally will have an awareness of IPC standards. Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and understand the requirements of maintaining quality records in line with the quality procedures. Be an effective communicator and be able to assist operators with the interpretation of drawings, specifications and technical data. Be able to work under pressure and have a flexible approach to be able to meet customer deadlines.Whilst someone with previous history in this environment would be ideal we would also be interested in receiving applications from candidates who have studied or worked in an electrical background who wish to pursue a career in this field, as training willbe given.If you feel you have what it takes to be successful in this role then apply today!
