* Quality, Electrical or mechanical quality is desirable* Electronics experience is desirable* Good understanding and working knowledge of PFMEA and quality plansOur client is seeking a Quality Engineer to work within the Quality team, working closely with the QHSE Manager, this integral role within the business will be improving quality processes and procedures, dealing with the inspection of products, and ensuringthat work is to the standard of ISO certifications.We are looking for a quality engineer to join our team & improve our quality & qualification processes. You will be responsible for working closely with the QHSE Manager & Head of Engineering on product qualification & inspection requirements. You will alsocollaborate with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures & practices across the business.B: Responsibilities* Maintaining product & component qualification information* Working closely with QHSE Manager & Engineering team to prepare products for certification.* Communicating with third-party approval test houses on product qualification.* Developing and implementing quality standards where required.* Developing and implementing quality control systems where required.* Inspecting materials including FAI to ensure quality specifications are met.* Assist in site & product auditing as part of the maintenance of QMS.* Collaborating with managers & supervisors to develop and implement controls and improvements.* Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.* Working closely with the QHSE manager in investigating returns and troubleshooting product or production issues.* Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements where applicable.C: Organization Relationships* Reporting Directly to QHSE Manager* Working closely with the Head of Engineering and other ManagersCandidate Requirements: * Education in quality, industrial, electrical, or mechanical disciplines is preferred* 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role* Ideal electronics experience and background / IPC knowledge* Working understanding of PFMEA & Quality plans* Effective communication and people skills* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills* An initiative-taking & independent approachHours: 37.5 HoursSalary: £26,000 - £28,000 Per AnnumBrampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
