Are you a Production Team Manager who is looking for a new challenging role We have a great opportunity working with an industry leading and expanding insulation manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent.This is a permanent role, working MondayFriday on a weekly rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm then 2pm-10pm, with a salary of up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience. Benefits will include 25 days AL (plus bank holidays), free secured parking, company canteen, training opportunities, employee assistant programme as well as hundredsof discounted retail vouchers available!As Production Team Manager you will be directly responsible for a team of 12 Production Operatives and will report directly to the Production Manager. You will train, motivate and monitor your team and ensure all KPI targets are achieved accuratelyand efficiently. You will also ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and undertake appraisals, absence management and disciplinary action. Other duties include, delivery of production plans and ensure the process is running according to specificationas well as monitoring all aspects of materials yields.A key focus of the role is managing and driving continuous improvement activity within the Operational Management team. Within this, you will work with Process, Engineering and CI Technicians in gathering data, identifying opportunities forimprovements and presenting suggestions to the management team.We are keen to hear from applicants who have a degree of equivalent experience (8+ years) in Manufacturing or Engineering, as well as a formal CI qualifications such as Six Sigma. Ideally you will have experience within conversion, foaming or multi-stage production line as well as experience in a COMAG site, ideally with experience working with chemicals.
