Materials Planner/ ideally someone who has a background as Production Planner within Materials Planning and Logisticsup to c £40,000 + BenefitsBased StaffordshireAn exciting opportunity has arisen for one of our clients based in Staffordshire; they are a highly successful manufacturing and engineering business/ FMCG with a household name.The role is for a production planner/ materials planner to be responsible for assisting the business working with the head of manufacturing production, MP&L, manufacturing supervisor and technician in various technical tasks.You will have a production background ideally within a manufacturing or engineering firm. You will have been responsible for duties of a production assistant include assisting manufacturing supervision with shop loading, monitoring program schedules, assistingproject managers and shop supervisors with work kit preparation, handling day to day administrative tasks in the division, acting as liaison between production control and manufacturing, ensuring that all the raw materials are stocked in appropriate quantities,fulfilling the employees, shop floor, and technicians with required machineries and equipment and performing several other tasks as required.You will be responsible for technical data e.g., materials, staff time sheets, raw materials etc onto an ERP system.Responsible for overseeing orders and inputting on MRP; ensuring paperwork, barcodes etc are correctly generatedLiaising with operations, shop floor and management in the correct analysation and sales forecast order.
