Job Description

Production OperativeStoke on Trent£18,800 - £20,100 per annum + bonus + overtimeAs a result of continued growth our Client has several opportunities for Production Operatives to join the UK’s leading personalised trade gift supplier. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills within this fast paced online gift company.You will earn between £9.33 - £9.96/hr, which equates to between £18,800 - £20,100 p.a. In addition to this you will receive paid overtime, and have the opportunity to earn an attendance bonus of up £800 p.a.As a Production Operative you will be responsible for manufacturing products to the highest quality and efficiencies. You will be working throughout the factory on a variety of processes, including: CNC laser engraving, CNC embroidery, heat press, generating digital prints using a variety of printers, studio assistant / bookmaking, packing and dispatch. While experience in any of these areas is ideal, it is not essential as full training will be given.This position is predominantly a day shift role which will involve working an annualised hour’s shift pattern, but you may be required to work a night shift or weekend shift during peak times, which is the run up to Christmas. The candidate should ideally have:

  • Production / Operative experience in a similar environment
  • IT literate with a good standard of education
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet production targets
  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment whilst being able to think on your feet
  • A willingness to partake in necessary training
  • Have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn various processes/techniques
