After a proper induction to the business, a personal development plan will be drawn up for you. It will outline each of the steps you’ll need to take to realise your ambitions and goals.   • Becoming a tech whizz, that’s confident in supporting select clients and offering tips and advice on how to streamline accounting processes by fully utilising the technology.

  • Maintaining accurate accounting records using the likes of Xero.
  • Completing reconciliations and adjustments to produce accurate management information for clients.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns under various VAT schemes and advising clients of the liabilities.

  • You’ll be passionate, brilliant, original and totally rock with numbers.
  • You’ll have at least two years’ experience of being a bookkeeper.
  • You’ll have an excellent knowledge of accounting systems, processes and all aspects of bookkeeping.
  • You’ll be tech savvy, great on Xero (and similar) and Excel and always looking for ways to use the tech to streamline the bookkeeping process.
  • You’ll pay attention to detail, taking pride in producing accurate work, getting things right and doing a great job.
