Our fantastic client based in Stoke on Trent is looking for a part time Payroll Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. They are an accountancy practice offering a friendly working environment and the chance to join a longstanding, stable team. Youllhave the flexibility to work part time hours (around 22.5 per week) over days and hours to suit you.Working in a team of four, as a part time Payroll Assistant you will be responsible for:-* Processing weekly and monthly payroll for a variety of clients* Entering in payroll information using Sage Payroll* Processing P45s, P60s, P11Ds etc* Dealing with auto-enrolment and RTI submissions* Calculating and processing any statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP* Handling HMRC notifications* Assisting clients with any payroll queriesFor the part time Payroll Assistant role, it would be good to see candidates with: * Previous experience in payroll, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau although any candidates who have run multiple payrolls will be considered* Experience using Sage Payroll, ideally* The ability to work effectively in a small team* Basic Microsoft Excel knowledgeHours: Monday to Friday, 22.5 hours per weekSalary: £10.00 - £11.00 per hourBrampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
