Job Description

One to One GCSE Online TutorCould you change the future, by supporting a child with social, emotional, and mental health needs to engage with their educationAre you confident in tutoring key basic skills, including Maths, Science and English, to upper secondary (KS4) level Do you have experience of supporting pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health needs or Autism Are you confident in working with childrenwith ASD, ADHD, or other comorbid conditions Are you familiar working in a One to One settingThe JobYoull be kept busy, planning and delivering one to one online or at -home tutoring to a Year 10 pupil. Working for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, the school are flexible on delivery schedules, and this role offers flexibility to work around you. You willbe focussed and dedicated; working intensively to offer support to a child. Youll take initiative, be resilient, and drive the pupil to achieve and progress. Youll work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage the pupil to act independentlyto succeed.Youll Be

  • An experienced tutor, familiar with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
  • Experienced delivering GCSE tutoring support
  • Comfortable working on a 121 basis
  • Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
  • Promote happiness, self-reliance and encourage positive interactions
