Job Description

A Network Support Engineer is sought after by a large MSP to help support onsite with their 1st and 2nd line Network Support requirements.Your role as Network Support Engineer will involve supporting a single site customer by providing installation or maintenance support.If you have a strong background in field engineering and operating practices, this may be the role for you.You role as Network Support Engineer will consist of:

  • Undertaking work by ensuring limited impact on the services provided for the customer
  • Working with the Operations manager to deal with the raised alerts from Cyber Security Operations Centre
  • Work to support the installation process with configuration and testing of relevant equipment to required standards onsite
The right Network Support Engineer will have the following:
  • CCNA Certifications
  • Experience working in customer faced technical teams
  • Good knowledge of Voice and Data Telecommunications
  • Knowledge and experience in MPLS, ISIS, BGP, NAT, HSRP, IPsec VPN, IP load-balancing
  • Firewalls, switches, routers, troubleshooting and change request experience
This role begins as FTC until July 2023, but there is a very strong potential for this role to become permanent. Furthermore, there is an opportunity for growth and progression.Salary can range up to £38,000 DOE.If this role is of interest, please apply below or send your CV directly to
