Job Description

Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerStoke on Trent Doube Days 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm£34,000 - £36,000Pension, Holidays, Free Onsite Parking, Sick Pay. The Company:McIver Knight Associates have partnered with a business that manufacture its chosen product nationally. Due to growth and an increase in orders, the company are now seeking to recruit a hardworking, flexible Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to assistwith the maintenance of and care of site operations, ensuring that all the equipment is safe and fit for purpose.The Candidate: Working within a team of engineering staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical equipment / Mechanical, machinery and power systems are regularly maintained and inspected. Carry out preventative maintenance, problem solving and repairsto ensure the consistent running of the factory, machinery and all ancillary equipment.Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing, fast moving environment with both preventative and reactive experience.
  • Knowledge of installing/repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic equipment.
  • To carry out repairs to production machinery, fixtures and equipment using lathe, drills, miller and grinder and by welding, brazing and soldering.
  • Undertaking and documenting scheduled PPM maintenance
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Completed an Apprenticeship
  • Will ideally have a proven track record in working within a continuous manufacturing environment although other industries will be considered
  • Experienced in project work
  • You will be experienced in performing reactive maintenance as well as PPM tasks on a regular basis
