Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit knowledgeable Modern Foreign Language (MFL) teachers for daily supply and short (with the potential of long) term contracts within our partnership secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, when they re-open after the current lockdown.Applications are welcome from MFL teachers at any stage in their careers, this including newly qualified teachers (NQTs).For this daily supply role, applicants must:

  • Be able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
  • Hold the relevant qualification in French, Spanish, or German (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teaching (NQT) status.
  • Have experience and knowledge of delivering French, Spanish, or German within the national curriculum and to have a proven track record of working with students in Key Stage 3 (up to Key Stage 5 would also be desirably, but not essential).
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
