Job Description

Our client are a fast growth digital business.They are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join the team who can create and deliver the businesses marketing strategy - enabling the business to achieve its commercial goals, coordinate product releases and manage the brands identity.As a market leading tech company the business is constantly developing innovative new products for its clients.The Marketing Managers responsibilities will span both internal and external communications - ensuring service benefits are communicated to existing customers, generating leads for new business as well as ensuring the internal team and wider supply chainare updated too.The company has built an envious brand identity, known for its innovation and high levels of customer support - the Marketing Manager will be responsible for building upon this, through effective communication plans.What a typical week looks likeAs the Marketing Manager, your weekly activities will include;

  • Develop and action plans from the marketing strategy, help to achieve commercial and operational targets
  • Plan, launch and monitor the success of both New Name and Upgrade B2B marketing campaigns to report ROI success
  • Oversee company related communications to the customer base regarding business updates and product awareness.
  • Regular liaison with the sales and customer care departments to ensure the business is aware of upcoming Marketing activities
  • Working with technical and sales teams to develop training and sales collateral
  • Work with key strategic partners to coordinate the launch of 3rd party integrated services
  • Responsibility for content updates across the website and intranet platform
  • Monitoring activities of key competitors and recommending competitive response, where appropriate
  • Manage opt-outs and opt-ins across the CRM and Mailshot database
  • Work closely with the Data Department to facilitate data audits
  • Driving customer engagement through CRM and digital communications media. Experience using Email Marketing Systems MailChimp would be a strong advantage
  • Overall responsibility for all trade show activities and relationships with key trade publications
  • Report into the Sales Manager, with a dotted line to the Group Marketing Director.
  • Line management of the Marketing Executive, to support the role
About you
  • Ideally 2 years experience as Marketing Manager
  • Adept at working in fast paced, agile delivery tech business
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Degree level or equivalent marketing qualifications
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (beneficial)
