Company - Market leader, Energy Efficient Renewables and Heat PumpsResponsibility - Managing an experienced renewable heating design and specification team of 4.Location - Stoke-on-Trent / North West (Work from home 3 days per week)Package - £45k - £53k iinc bonus, company car, car allowance, healthcare, pension and dental.Candidate - Team management, leadership, estimation, quote, design, specification, diagram interpretation, advise, office experience or practical experience ideally with either a Mechanical Engineering Degree or industry qualifications suchhas City & Guilds, NVQ air conditioning, heating and ventilation, heat pumps or plumbing e.g. BPEC, G3 and Unvented Hot Water. It would be beneficial to have knowledge on what is driving the market such as the boiler upgrade scheme, domestic RHI and MCS.The RoleLeading national provider of Energy Efficient Renewables and heat pumps seeks a Manager to run their growing Northern domestic heating specification team that provide everything from technical advice to quoting, designing, estimating and specifying. Youwill be specifying the latest Air Source Heat Pumps, Air to Water Heat Pumps, Monobloc systems, Water to Water Heat Pumps and Ground Source Heat Pumps for both new build domestic housing projects and retro fit social housing projects.Experience RequiredAs this is a management role you must have some team management experience, along with your own successful background of estimating, designing, and quoting residential heating projects using heat pumps (air source heat pumps or ground source heat pumps)or even, boilers, piping, plumbing, mechanical ventilation and underfloor heating. It will be ideal if you can interpret technical schematics, plumbing layouts, wiring diagrams and if you are up to date on current industry water regulations. If your experienceis more on commercial heating with water-to-water heat pumps and other central plant heating such as CHP please still apply. Design of heat pump systems and how they are technically applied to different projects would be an advantage.
