Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer you will support the Company’s operation in Stoke working as a team to maintain our varied portfolio in multiple locations on reactive and planned works.As a multi-skilled tradesperson with skills in joinery, painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing and electrical work. Your role will be to maintain our buildings to the highest standards and meet legislative HSE building compliance. You will be required to carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance.You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, weekends may be required along with providing an on-call service.Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Perform a wide scope of general maintenance tasks including joinery, painting and decorating, basic plumbing and electrical works to a high standard.
  • Health and Safety experience including COSHH, risk assessment and permits to work.
  • Computer literate including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Able to communicate to all stakeholder levels.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and stay calm in emergency situations.
  • Work as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexible approach to working.
  • Possession of a current valid driving licence is essential.
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out a full range of general maintenance duties to a high standard.
  • Performing reactive and pre-planned maintenance.
  • Providing on call response to out of hours emergencies.
