Are you an organised Supervisor within a manufacturing/ engineering environment with good knowledge of MRP systems We are recruiting for a Machine Shop Supervisor to join a very well established engineering company based in Stoke on Trent. Salary £25-33k dependent on experience plus 31 days holiday, pension, private healthcare and parking onsite! Working hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.As Machine Shop Supervisor you will be managing a team of 25 skilled and semi skilled operators within the machine shop, allocating workload daily, conducting team meetings, reviews, disciplinaries and managing the performance of the machine shop against customer requirements ensuring quality is at a high standard at all times. Machine shop includes: CNC milling and turning, MIG and TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel, sawing, drilling and assembly.This family run company is introducing a new MRP system which you will be involved with as you will be scheduling and planning orders for the machine shop through this.It is essential you have atleast 5 years experience within an engineering/ machine shop environment in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of good manufacturing processes is key with excellent people management skills.
