Do you have experience within a Production or Manufacturing environment and looking for an entry level permanent role in a fantastic, friendly small team where you will be provided training as a Machine Operator Due to an internal move, we have an opportunityfor a Machine Operative to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of upholstery.Please note, only candidates who are immediately available will be considered for the role. This is a full-time permanent role based in Stoke on Trent (ST6), working Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and 8am-4pm on Fridays with a salary of £18,069 per annum. AsMachine Operativeyou will be working in a fast-paced production environment with responsibility for handling the foot operated pneumatic machine to produce covered buttons. In addition, you will be cutting and stamping fabric using electricscissors and a manual fabric stamper, producing samples, daily/weekly machine maintenance and recording production activity.We are keen to speak to applicants with experience in a production or manufacturing environment, who are keen and committed to gain training as a Machine Operator as this is an entry level role. A good level of communication (verbal and written) will be essential.Any experience of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
