Job Description

Logistics Customer ServiceCheddleton, Staffordshire MoorlandsPermanent OpportunityImmediate Start£22kThe Role:To be the principal point of contact with those customers and suppliers assigned to the representative for all activities and communications relating to the administration and fulfilment of ordersReceive sales ordersInput data into SAP computer systemMaintain good communications with sales managersProcess orders:Clarify customers requirementsEnsure orders contain all the elements required and that they are correctFollow up specific items that need to be defined during order processingSubmit sales orders to the sales managers for approval and collect authorisation signaturesLiaise with production on their capability to produce the product in accordance with the customers needsAgree the customer delivery schedule for the dispatch/collection of productBook transport and agree best price in accordance with company proceduresCirculate internally all necessary information including customers marks/requirementsRaise invoices immediately on despatch for all sales ordersChannel technical questions to the relevant internal function, collect responses and communicate them to customersArrange the preparation and despatching of samples requested by customersCheck/process customer letters of creditChannel commercial questions to the relevant sales managersHandle, and report on, complaints from customersKeep clear notes and orderly papers so that orders can If necessary be picked up by othersFile all the documentation in the customer files every day and in an orderly fashionWork closely with the accounts department to ensure fast and effective exchange of information on every aspect of customer relationship, payment, invoicing, credit itemsSkills and Attributes Organised, with the ability to multi taskSAP experience ideal to the use of CRM systemsExcellent customer service and administration skillsA logistic, planning or coordinator experienceAble to work well as a team and off own initiativeThe Hours Monday to FridayFull Time
