An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established water treatment/water hygiene company who offer a wide range of water services throughout the UK. The company are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Legionella Risk Assessor/Water HygieneEngineer to join their team based in the Stoke - On - Trent area. Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments, remedial Plumbing works, disinfection of mains water tanks, temperature monitoring and water sampling. Applications from Burton - On - Trent , Wolverhampton,Birmingham, Litchfield and the surrounding areas will be considered. The applicant must come from a good educational, chemical, and technical background and must be fully conversant with the ACOP L8 guidelines. Will have hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties to a varied site base. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Packages.Key Responsibilities Will Include:Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.Undertaking remedial plumbing works.Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.Monitoring clients air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.Interpreting the results and maintaining and installing dosing systems, etc.Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients.Carrying out plumbing work as and when required.Overall, the successful applicant will be commercially focused, flexible, and reliable and can work independently and under pressure and must be prepared to travel to designated sites as per clients requirement.This is a good opportunity to join a highly successful company that offers an attractive salary, depending on expertise, company vehicle and along with many other benefits.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry, we work with the best clients & candidates and supply most permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.
