Job Description

This Brigg Scientific client are a food and water testing company based in Stoke-on-Trent. They are currently seeking a Lab technician to work in the Testing laboratory. Key duties include:

  • Sample preparation
  • Wet Chemistry Analysis
  • Microbiology analysis
  • Water Analysis
  • Total Solids
Successful candidates will have an interest in Science and be willing to undergo training in the field. No specific Qualifications are necessary, just good communication and a strong work ethicYou will be using computer software for data entry of results so you need to familiar with using a computer.People with Science based Qualifications are also encouraged to apply.They will also consider taking people looking for Part time hours of 20 hrs per week to fit around school times.The role is offered initially as a Temporary agency contract and carries a pay rate of £8.91/hr.2 roles are available.Full time hours are 9am - 5pm.Part time hours can be anything required, but typically 9.30am to 2.30pm.They can also accommodate different days if people are studying and want to do a couple of long days.
