Job Description

Junior Sous ChefWe are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client who are a global leader in location-based family entertainmentThey have a vacancy for a talented Junior Sous Chef who will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in supervising the production and service of food to the highest standards.Responsibilities of this Junior Sous Chef role are:

  • To ensure good communications between team and head of department
  • Deputise for the Senior Sous Chef in tier absence
  • Assit Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in ensuring all cleaning programs are carried out by all members of the team
  • High standard of food production and presentation is maintained at all times
  • Assist with monthly stock taking
  • Check fridges and stock taking on a daily basis to plan purchasing requirements
  • Assist he senior sous chef in maintaining and improving food gross profit
  • Fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and pass this to customers accordingly
For this Junior Sous Chef role you will need:
  • A strong background in the catering industry or experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A professional approach to your work
  • Upbeat, positive attitude to work
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills
